Beginner here. I keep switching classes and always get bored around lvl 20 to 30. I’ll play something for a bit, and then it just stops being fun.
Tried Frost Mage and Druid. Frost Mage felt slow and too ranged for my taste. Druid looks insane, spells are dope, but the playstyle felt kinda slow to me.
I want a class that can tank a bit and smack stuff up close. I’m thinking Warrior, PaladinorDK. Tell me your experiences with these classes, what’s fun, what sucks, etc.
I played DK before and loved the look, but the lore felt confusing, as if it were intended for players who already knew the game. Not sure if it was the class.
Does race actually matter, or is it mostly just a matter of aesthetics? If anyone’s mains one of these, drop pros and cons, leveling and dungeon tips, and in your opinion, picks that actually look good with the class. Any recs or real talk welcome
Race is just aesthetics these days. Used to be important, at least sometimes. Not any more.
I’m a bit surprised you don’t list Demon Hunter among your shortlist, It’s getting a third spec in Midnight.
Preferences are very individual. My Plate Tank preference is Paladin, especially for tanking. Prot Paladin has a Button For Everything, and I love that.
Warrior is much more hop-around, mobile, with Charge and Heroic Leap.
Blood DK is slow, no speed buffs to speak of, but vast self-healing.
But words are pretty useless.
Go to YouTube and search for
Midnight Protection Paladin
Midnight Protection Warrior
and so on. You will find videos explaing their gameplay that are worth many thousand words.
