Clarity please on Water Strider

Water Walking isn’t the issue. It’s the rep requirement for the Strider.

Which they could easily solve by ADDING water walking to other mounts, rather than removing it from the strider. Or by adding a current-content water walking elixir, or a 2-hour consumable for water walking like the ones for anti-daze. Or by simply implementing the water walking equipment, and exempting the strider from the equipment slot.

So, no, the issue isn’t “how we get the strider”, because there are a number of options that don’t require those of us who own a strider to lose functionality on the mount we purchased.

None of these options would fix anything. They won’t add waterwalking to other mounts because no other mount makes sense with it without a tool like this equipment. Give people an elixir option, no one will buy them and will just use the strider. Exempting the strider from equipment will just end up with the same deal as now where people will just use the strider all the time.

In my opinion they should do the same thing with the sky golems, remove herb gathering and turn that into equipment.

And waterwalking still isn’t a big deal. How often do you actually use it? Bet it’s not much at all outside of Nazmir, which will soon have flying

I take a few days break from their screwing over our portals to return to a whole new screwing of our mounts that we PAID the COST FOR ALREADY.

Did you have any reason to believe reforging would go away?
Did you have any reason to believe there would be no tier gear this expansion?

Rhetorical questions, btw. Major game systems have been retired over the course of 15 years. Anything you do now could be on the table for alteration, expansion, or retirement in the future.
