Can someone more dialed in to the details clarify something for me regarding warband sharing of renown/reputation?
I seem to recall hearing that the warband only “tracks” the highest renown level among your characters. Does this mean that only that character with the highest level can push the renown bar along in whatever increments (unless another character catches up to and then surpasses that character), or is there truly a warband level renown bar that every character’s every earned point of renown pushes along until the whole warband levels up the renown?
Maybe the mixing in of traditional reputations is what has me confused, do they each have their own rules?
I’d really like to spread out the participation of my alts, but it feels like I have to have a “renown/reputation main,” and chase those things on one character. Am I misunderstanding?

When the merge happens does that negative rep deduct from my account wide rep? hmm? Should I go over there and apologize for farming them for a few days? What kind of cake or pie could I bring as a token of good faith? AREpple? RubAREb?
In Dragonflight, no, this is not how it works.
ALL my characters contribute to the renown.
I’d expect Bloodsail reputation being one of the reputations that will remain character specific just like Aldor vs. Scryer … however the real problem might be Booty Bay / Steamwheedle if that gets a non chracter specific treatment for the warband. Some people might suddenly make an unexpected pro- / regression towards / away from “Insane in the Membrane” should the warband reputation value be derived from the highest standing with Booty Bay /Steamwheedle of all warband characters.

As far as I am aware, only Dragonflight and TWW Renown/Reputation tracks are shared across your Warband right now. All characters contribute to the total.
They said they will work to add the tracks from older expansions over time. Each character has their own level in Shadowland and earlier.
