I placed a crafting order to the public, a person claimed it to craft and logged off before finishing it. I am not able to cancel it. I am not able to whisper the person. This person has created a denial of service and blocked me.
I should be able to cancel it when the crafter who claimed it logged off so I can relist it.
The claim should cancel when they log off.
Once a crafter hit start on a WO, it locks the WO. It was put in place for things like the altar of decay in DF. Protects the crafter from shenanigans like canceling before they get to the spot. It has a timer of thirty minutes. If your crafter doesn’t craft in those 30 minutes, the WO will return to the public listing. Same thing if the craft is made but the crafter doesn’t hit complete, you would be receiving your item in that case.
So in other words, be virtuous and wait out the timer.

Note that it also locks the WOs crafting tab for the crafter. So as a griefing strat it is a really (insert various insults about intelligence) one.
