so having a hard time trying to figure out how to get out of the root on last boss in city of echos. (aff warlock).

Use your felstalker and silence it when the suck is over.

You could also use fear, mortal coil and shadowfury.

If you have Felpuppy / Fel guard, use their interrupt on the blob thats holding you.
If that interrupt is down you will have Shadow fury / Mortal Coil / Fear.

Any of those will work.
