City Leader kills

How difficult was it to kill Thrall, Magni, and Bolvar?

Assuming no players are defending them which is incredibly unlikely.

Wasn’t Thrall easy to get to because of the backdoor into Orgrimmar? Alliance could bypass Saurfang thus improving their chances drastically.

Horde have an alternative way to insert themselves quickly into cities, but requires more work.

I was a mage and my friend was a warlock in vanilla. We were both messing around baiting people into PVP so we could grief them in Westfall when we randomly had the idea to go to Stormwind. We ran through Stormwind and went to the Cathedral. We went downstairs and died in the Cath crypts there. Then we had the idea to get a 3rd person to join us and summon people. Whispered a rogue friend of mine and he stealthed his way to us. Then I messaged the guild leader of the top guild on Horde and made a deal with him that if we could easily get him into Stormwind then his guild would kill the bosses with us in the raid. He said sure. We raid grouped and summoned their warlocks first and then the entire raid was there shortly after. Killed Benedictus and then ran over and killed Bolvar with a full PVE raid (they just finished raiding BWL) without any resistance whatsoever. People didn’t even know it had happened until about 20 minutes after we already left. I tried to get them to go to Ironforge as well but they said no thanks.

There are a lot of spots you can do this same tactic in Ironforge as well. A lot of little shops people don’t often visit and you can start summoning.

And then of course Darnassus is the easiest. You can literally just summon a raid out on the lawn behind Arch Druid’s tree without anyone batting an eye.

City leaders are pretty easy fights. They aren’t particularly deadly and have very simple (if any) mechanics. Difficulty in these fights comes from players defending.
