Edit: [[[FIXED]]] Abandoning it worked, just had to do it again
The ‘Cities in Dust’ quest in Silverpine Forest was going as it should until the last moment when the NPC Godfrey warped out. Then all other NPC’s disappeared and I wasn’t able to turn in the quest. I restarted WoW hoping this would fix the issue and I came back to the same area with nothing there. The quest said [Failed] in red coloring and there is no turn in marker on the map. I’ll try abandoning the quest to try again. If that works I will delete this or edit a fixed note.
