Honestly think it has to do with AU Durotan’s and Draka’s hormones acting all different due to Garrosh’s arrival into their timeline at the time. AU Seed Thrall losing the race to Seed Geya’rah because no one got freaky at the right time. But then Seed Garrosh makes it to an egg regardless of the timeline so I just don’t know.
I only say seed since seamen is censored by the way.
Garrosh was never born in the AU, Kairoz selected for that difference specifically among others. And the mentioned Hellscream son that was born after we left Draenor and converted to the Lightbound is clearly a different person.
Just because you have the same parents doesn’t mean you have the same DNA and are the same person. You know what siblings are right? Every individual “seed” isn’t a clone and will produce the same result. “Seed” lasts a matter of days before dying and being replaced with more “seed”.
And Exarch Hellscream doesn’t even have that. Garrosh’s would-be mother died in the AU without having him, therefore Grom’s had this son with a new mate making the Exarch genetic half-brothers with Garrosh.
Since Draka didn’t seem pregnant and thrall was supposed to be born around that time period, i assume thrall was never conceived. If Geya’rah was conceived after the war with the iron horde then she could not have been thrall, as male reproduction organism have a fairly short life outside the egg.
Personally I’ve always viewed Geya’rah as “the sister Thrall never had” instead of an AU Thrall.
Leaving aside biology for a moment, it’s clear that aside from sharing some lineage, they’ve made no attempt whatsoever to model Geya’rah’s personality after Thrall’s, she’s not even a Shaman after all. If anything they’ve gone a little too hard in a different direction.
Why? That is entirely expected and seems to be the case.
Not to get too gross, but the male reproductive organisms can be effected by much.
If the “seed” That would have been Thrall was never embedded, because everything changed before Thrall was conceived, then Durotan and Draka simply made a different child.
Geyarah would be more like a sister than an AU-doppelganger-type of thing.
Eh not really. The only things in warlords that was 100% balls to the walls dumb were that one zone that was rewritten halfway through, Kargath dying in highmaul, and, of course, DRAENOR IS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Warlords issue was the lack of content, not necessarily the content itself. I love Draenor as a setting, and view it as one of the better settings in wow.
half of the content was actually cut off. orgrim doomhammer had some of his story written off and there was more about the dreanei in this AU. Why did the cut it off? who knows, but its one the reasons I was starting to get disappointed with the lore with WoW.
While I agree dreanor was visually stunning and fresh, after a while it was a shallow expansion with very little payoff for players, both alliance and horde.
Yeah, the actual lore was fine is my point. The Arakkoa, Ogres, and Botani were all great for their limited screentime, and Blackhand is only beaten by Lei Shen in terms of Mid Expansion bosses.
The issue is they decided to divert resources from Warlords to Legion. It wasn’t terrible in every aspect, it’s juts failed to deliver enough content to be memorable, with a terrible climax.
