Circular Arguments

Let’s get real: for the trolls that inhabit this forum, the whole, you said no changes that means you want X is the go-to strawman. You guys obviously need a thread to get it out of your system, so I am providing that service.

It’ll be sweet to see these same people switching gears to “i know it’s classic, but x needs nerfed” after they got stomped.

That’s no strawman.

I am a little confused. Did someone say you wanted a change even though you said no changes?

The only thing I would want added into classic is transmog and barbershops. All aesthetic based with no impact on gameplay besides making roleplay more viable and not running around in clown suits.

“CLOWN SUITS ARE A PART OF THE CLASSIC EXPERIENCE, BURN THE HERETICS, BUUUURN!!!11! REEEEEEEEEEE…”

“Don’t you guys have phones?!”

Unm transmog absolutely will change thr game. Value of items will change and people will be more likely to ninja loot based on aesthetic appeal. It also affects the auction house. So your whole no gameplay changes is horsecrap

I mean people will still buy items they want to wear off the auction house and will still ninja loot. It just makes it easier to change looks and free up bag space, as well as have your items be viable to wear in combat while looking good. However I will not stoop so low to call your argument horsecrap. I just simply disagree with you.

You can buy those items and wear them all u want, just beware to not get killed because of it.

I actually liked this way more, my bank was 90% filled with item sets.

I’m not saying people won’t buy stuff off the AH at all. I’m saying it will inflate the value of items.
It will also lead to another reason for people to ninja items.
We literally saw both happen when transmog was added to retail, so i have history on my side.

They could bring back the old transmog system from mists. Where you had to have the item on you and make the copy of that said item ontop of your current model. That way it will still take up your bag space if thats what you want.

they dont have to bring back anything, u can play dress up all u want. there is no problems doing it.

Why do uwant to change the game for everyone just so u can free up some bag space, get real.

I mean do you? Like I said, if people want items to wear they will go ahead and seek out those items one way or another. Also whats wrong with a growing market in transmog items. All it does is drive the economy. If people want to spend 500+gold on a skimpy armor peice why not.

Your arguments fall short big time.

You’re now just crying for attention like a true retail baby.

Lol, ok then. I have no clue what you are even freaking out about.

Because it negatively impacts those who just want to grab an affordable item.
Furthermore it negatively impacts enchanters and anyone who wants enchants.
Also anything that encourages ninja looting is going to get a big red x from me.
Just because you are fine with the repercussions does not mean it is a good change.

Simple, transmog or any other feature that wasn’t in vanilla, won’t be in classic.
If u want to dress up u can, just be mindfull doing so when you could be killed because of it, this is a rpg, not some facebook game.

I think you are overblowing the outcome. I don’t think its going to have huge sweeping changes to the market and I don’t think its going to cripple enchanting.

It will at worse: raise the auction prices for certain items

At best: Let people wear sets and outfits without needing to switch to viable gear

Also people will still need to put the effort into unlocking those looks. Yes yes we been over the ninja looting, people will still ninja loot for those items one way or another. If anything your call on the ninja looting makes the need for required item drops for only classes who can use them. And the removal of item rolling. Now I am not advocating for that, but it would solve your ninja loot problem
