Says to socket the ring with the Citrine, but never gave me the Citrine to socket it with? Any ideas?
Try to buy from the person who gave you the quest - should have an option to create one.
You have to pay like 50 watnots to make a gem.
edit: oh, you just started the island. Keep doing the quests around there then. Then every week a new quest will show up for a different gem.

Doesnt have anything to buy, just the quest and the little excerpt underneath it. Super annoying

You are a couple weeks behind, someone will figure this out if given more to go on.
The Circlet Calls quest, says to equip ring, socket, and unsocket the ring to complete it. However i only received the ring & nothing to socket or unsocket it with.
You have to do the events and quests to get the citrines to socket. You can’t buy it until you have looted one of that specific type. It’s really not rocket science just look at the map and mouse over one quest on the isle?
There are 3 x possible citrines in the ring at any time… Thunder / Sea / Wind
And 4 of each type, for a total of 12.
As you go around, and kill the 3 guys in the caves you will get the various gems to socket into your ring. The game gives you one for completion of the cave, then you are able to buy it later from 1 of 4 vendors on the little starting area. (and send it to your other guys)
But as a previous guy said, you must generally kill the guys in the caves to get each of the gems. (available to you)
Look on your minimap, and you will see the cave events along with which gem you are going to get for completion of that cave.

You should have received a citrine when you finished Reforged Anew.
If you can’t find it in your bags or bank, you can buy Windsinger’s Runed Citrine from one of the vendors. The vendor on the rock also sells 2 citrines.
Check your inventory more thoroughly. Unless the quest wholly bugged for you somehow, they give you a gem along with the ring.
The tortollen guy up on the little hill should have 3 gems to buy.
1 of them is the Legendary
psure you don’t have to do anything for them to be available.
