I’m on an alt and I got a upgrade piece and it said I can’t modify the ring. So is this a bug or just I may of gotten an extra upgrade for the week?
Note: I did the quests provided for the upgrades but also got one from killing a rare.
Is your ring already 658? That’s the max level.
Max for this week is 655, so if you somehow have an item despite being at that level, then it will be usable on Tuesday.
Yes, it’s 658 and that’s still with the extra upgrade piece. Guess I just got an extra though, I wasn’t sure since I had lost count of what Ilvl it should be.
Certain character services allowed someone to gain a second upgrade in a given week, meaning they would have it at max ilvl already.
That sounds borderline exploitative since the clear intention was for it to be max next week. Interesting.
It’s not the first time character services have allowed a weekly bypass and they never do anything about it
Well it wasn’t intentional so you can’t call it exploitive 
They can take it away if they want, I don’t care.
