WHERE WAS THE HORDE?! Isn’t this type of scenario the exact reason the belfs joined the Horde in the first place? I know you have cinematic models for generic tauren, trolls, undead and orcs! USE THEM!
The coolest thing about the belfs is how they’re a conventionally pretty race vibing with monster people! Lean into that!
Beautiful cinematic though, animation team really knocked it out of the park. More orcs next time though please.
You kind of miss the point here… His complain is clearly about how it make no sense lorewise why the blood elf would be left alone when they have so much allied now.
I want Horde in the cinematic though. Also why are you linking my reddit comment like you’re exposing me? Am I not allowed to ask the same thing in two different places?
You have to remember that for the most part, the rest of the horde is still picking up the pieces and trying to keep their own stuff together. That and after MOP, the blood elves were starting to pull away in general so they probably didn’t maintain appearances as well as they should have. Plus, if you think about the actual distance between under city and Silver Moon, they would have no idea of knowing what’s going on until a messenger got there. At this point, they are basically off on a little island all by themselves and they liked it that way.
The storyline of Zul Aman from the information we have available right now seems to be centred around an alliance between Zandalari and Amani rebels trying to overthrow their Void corrupted kin.
Last I checked, the Zandalari are Horde. And are not Blood Elves.
Aren’t we talking about the cinematic who is taking place in Quel’thalas? Why are you talking about a other kingdom when the subject is where are the blood elf allied when the blood elf are being attack…
Cinematics are not reflective of the overall storyline as proven in TWW where Anduin was the star of the cinematic trailer but disappeared after the endgame campaign.
OP does have a point, though. This is a Horde faction capital city. You’d think you’d see at least a few other Horde races in the combat scenes. I’m not saying that Thrall should have been there or anything, but a few Tauren or Forsaken in the background would have made sense…
This troll is so deep in his crusade against the horde that everything is alliance vs horde for him now. Even though this thread was clearly about the place of the blood elf within the other horde race and not a horde vs alliance thread.
More like where was Thalyssra? Lor’themar looked prepared for Xal’s attack meaning he had time to organize their defenders. You would think his wife would be there with a few Nightborne forces
At least no blood elf leader died, Silvermoon isn’t completly neutral and the alliance didn’t get fully playable high elf. So i guess this is still a small win for the blood elf. Still sad that not losing anything is consider as a win.
