This game is already flagged for tobacco use so I don’t think they would be breaking any standards if they added cigarettes to transmog. Would be cool, what do you think?

This is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Azeroth. As players explore open-world environments, they can interact with characters, form alliances, and complete quests to “level up.” Quests can involve killing various creatures (e.g., monsters, trolls, ogres, forest animals), as players use melee attacks and magic spells. Combat is highlighted by impact sounds, gunfire, explosions, and depleting health bars. Some attacks result in splashes of blood and/or creatures bursting into chunks. The game contains some suggestive dialogue, particularly when using the flirt lines/commands (e.g., “Want me to talk dirty? I do speak Nathrezim, you know”; “Don’t touch the tail! … Okay, now touch the tail”; “Honey, I’ve got all kinds of toys in my utility belt”; “I have tattoos in other places, you know”; “Your happy place or mine?”). Some female characters are depicted wearing low-cut tops and/or performing provocative dance routines. During the course of the game, players’ character can purchase and consume mead, wine, and other alcoholic beverages; drinking excessively results in a screen-blurring effect and characters vomiting. One quest prompts players’ character to search for specific items among piles of feces. The words “a*s” and “bastard” appear in the game.

Heh, right there in his sausage fingers! It’d be pretty funny if that ancient image is enough to flag the game as a whole for ‘tobacco use’ though.

yes it bothers me that much. I use a mod to remove them from fallout 4. I’ve lost many family members bc of smoking. my paternal grandparents both died of lung cancer before I was even born.

One of the only games I can think of that actually promotes any form of smoking is Lord of the Rings Online, in the form of Pipe Tobacco, which you can farm and smoke. But of course, that world has a large focus on pipe smoking, as well. I hate smoking and I’ve never had a problem with that depiction myself. It is fun because you can actually crit from crops of a common variety and get rare seeds that are only available from those crit methods, and then subsequentially from the crops you grow from the rare seeds, of course. You can sell the seeds, or the gathered tobacco on the auction house as well. And then you literally just smoke it, I don’t recall if there is any use for it other than just doing it for RP purposes.

I think it’d be cool, personally. We have an entire class themed around alcohol, so I don’t think smoking should be off-limits.

In BFA there were certain mobs that dropped “pipe weed” and also several different pipes. none of it was useable or equip-able but the items were there.
EDIT: the mobs were in Stormsong Valley. The pipes could be obtained through chests and the “pipe weed” was actually called Billow Weed

You can smash down alcohol until the screen is fuzzy and your character actually vomits but smoking is excessive?

One issue I would have with a cigarette or cigar transmog is that it competes with other head slot items. I suppose it could be a toy, but then it wouldn’t be a transmog. It would be nice if there was a face transmog option for masks and glasses that were separate from helmet transmogs.

pipe toy or “rollie” toy would be wicked, i dont think it needs to be a full on transmog at all
