ChronoShear

First boss of mega-dungeon.
Spent a lot of time dying to that mechanic.
I have used Bubble (waiting for a heal) and LoH (removes shear and heals some) but have a tendency to still die.
Any suggestions (sacrificing a Gnome won’t work)?

Chronoshear is comprised of two debuffs once it hit the tank. The first part is an 800k or so healing absorb and the second debuff is a 200% increased damage taken debuff that needs to be dispelled and can only be done once the heal absorb has been removed.

If you’re consistently dying to the mechanic then it’s likely that the healing absorb isn’t being healed through quickly enough. Have the healer and any off healing be prepared to address that and then dispel the debuff.

ok. Thanks

You need to be healed. I know some healer ui’s don’t track heal absorbs.

I did the dungeon on my warrior and my healer had no idea about the debuff until I told him.

The heal absorbs wasn’t an issue in the bdk though.

First, I refuse to believe sacrificing a gnome won’t help.

Like others said the healer needs to help get the healing absorb off then dispel.

I’m not 100% sure on this but I believe the absorb is reduced by damage reduction. First time through there I didn’t know about it and got hit with a 500k heal absorb. Second time through I used Defensive stance, full Ignore pain and shield wall and the absorb was only a little sliver of my health bar. Try using some cooldowns right before he hits you with it.
