Chronomancer Idea!

So this is my epiphany…

In light of Slyvanas treachery and the imminent threat of the Old Gods, the Bronze Dragonflight has secretly been teaching the Kirin Tor about time manipulation. The dire need for a new type of Mage was seen as a necessity. Thus born, the Chronomancer. This 4th Mage spec can manipulate time to reverse damage and negative effects on allies and themselves. The Chronomancer is capable of spells such as:
-Short and long term AoE and single-target reversals.
-Flipping harmful spells into a new time continuum and back onto its originator.
-Slowing casting/attack speed of enemies.
-Short-term time (haste) buffs for allies.

Example talents:
-“Rinse and Repeat” - Restore 50% of all cooldowns/buffs, including Heroism/Bloodlust. (essentially takes Bloodlust/Heroism from 40 seconds to a full 60 seconds).

-“Wormhole” - Create a wormhole in space-time (similar to a Warlock Gateway) allowing allies to pass through instantly and increasing their speed by X amount.

-“Time Well Spent” - Increases the duration of your allies’ heals by X%. After this effect ends, ALL (including yours and allies) healing over time spells receive a X% of Crit for X seconds.

Anyways, guys, if you didn’t catch it, it’s a healer and I think this has potential. Please let me know what you think. I think the idea of time reversal in conjunction with conventional heals could produce some interesting results.

Lost me at healer.

Leave guild wars 2 classes…in gw2.

Likelihood and naysayersaside, a time master healer is a neat idea imo. I’d def play one.

Good thing you play a warlock

It’s probably my favorite gw2 class fantasy wise. Going back to GW2 after a long break it’s lost quite a bit. Phantasms are no longer extra strong illusions, they’re basically attacks that summon an illusion at the end, which killed my open world build, having a pet tank was nice.

Also the new shatter changes stink. I still play mine, but usually in metas with lots of people around so i can boon them with alacrity and quickness.

Imagine me having more than one character! PWOAH!

Mind blown! I was trolling just a little. I always find it funny when people post on the class they’re not talking about in class forums

My bad, it was my fault for not feedbacking.
I love the idea of a support class that’s not healing based but mitigation based, and is still able to deal damage in their own right.

A chronomancer could work really well here. Like arcane, no real self healing on its own, but focussing on buff effects and debuff effects, and damage mitigation.

And control in the literal sense. Picking up people and moving them manually to locations. Spells like Supernova that physically knock people around, temporal walls that actually block movement (like those items in Ashram). But this is me going off on a tangent.

A spec that actually bends reality and time-space would be mind-blowing.

I think a time mage would be a good addition especially since there’s already lore based on it. I don’t think it needs to be a healing class though. I’d also like to see arcane go more melee.
