I made a fresh Void Elf and immediately chose Legion from Chromie. All I got was “Go to the Mage Tower and use the portal to Dalaran”. Ok. Once I got into the Tower that changed to “Portal to Valdrakken to start Legion Timewalking”, can’t do that on a lvl 10. At this point I noticed that the portal to Azsuna is gone, then I remembered the new floor, so I went up. I was able to use the portal to Bel’ameth, and the quest text changed to “use the portal to Feathermoon Stonghold”, but that is Feralas. I tried anyway and the text changed to " port to Bel’ameth", at which point it just loops between saying the two. I abandoned the idea altogether and reverted to current timeline. Anyone have this issue and solved it?

It’s been a couple years since I leveled a character from that low, so idk about this specifically.
But you don’t * have * to follow those directions if you know where you’re going. Last time I did Legion, I’m pretty sure it gave you that one-time hearth to Broken Isles Dalaran. Either that or there was a port straight there from the Stormwind docks (if you skip the intro scenario).
Try choosing Legion from the Community Board. It should send you to the dock where you can skip the intro and be teleported to Dalaran. Oh, and the Dalaran Hearthstone doesn’t work until you get to Dalaran. Every update, they break a dozen things for every thing they add,

Open your Book with the toys and use the Dalaran Hearthstone .
Did it horde side a couple weeks ago (not this patch), and I was sent to the portal room to talk to a mage for a direct port to Legion Dalaran. Not taking a regular portal.
No there anymore as of 10.2.7 apparently.
