Chromie not giving me the Option to do another Expansion Scaling

I used here before Shadowlands came out. This Character Tip on Stormrage is a Character I been slowly doing every expansion in order.

I did Vanilla, TBC, and almost all of wrath but I got stuck with a couple quests that broke due to phasing issues with Shadowlands during the events before the launch of the expansion.

After that I used another character played to 60 and took a break till now.

I have come back with no scaling on (Quests all grey) trying to talk to chromie but she just says the default Icecrown needs help stuff (For shadowlands).

I’m level locked at 49… It worked perfectly before. But now I’m not sure how to fix it.

I literally subscribe just to worth on the rest of Wrath then scale to Cata content so I’m kind of just waiting here for help <3

I have no way to check.
Did you finish the quest at the message board? Cromie will be next to it, if you remember, or back up at their spot with the Goblins(Horde) - Tree(Alliance).
They also have a 2 answer question when you interact with them ; just to change timeline.

Figured it out I has to cancel this silly shadowlands quest added to my quest log. The second I deleted it I was able to see chromie’s options.

When you hit level 48 you automatically get the quest to go to Icecrown. As long as you have that quest in your quest log you can’t get back into Chromie Time. If you abandon that quest you have a short window before it pops up again & you can use that to talk to Chromie & get back into Chromie Time if you’re quick enough. However, once you hit level 50 that trick no longer works & you’re permanently locked out of Chromie Time. So if you’re determined to continue playing in Chromie Time on your level 49 character you should talk to the NPC in Stormwind Castle & lock XP first, otherwise as soon as you ding 50 you’ll be booted out of Chromie Time with no way back in.

Thank, yeah this was exactly what it was and I guess something new for me… I will make sure I don’t do it Plus + hit 50 I am still capped at 49 and will continue to do that :slight_smile:
