Ive checked almost every day for the last 2 months trying to catch Chromie in Mechagon si I can catch the last secret fish I need. Ive stationed an alt there to check as well as checking the Wowhead today in Wow page. Shes never freaking there. Contacted Blizzard support and they were worthless. Does she still show up there? Is there any kind of rhyme or reason to when she will show up? Any help would be great.
PS, I cant use the personal displacer thing as Ive never been to the alt world to collect the parts for it. I want to do that there as well as that last fish.

Unfortunately this is one of those terribly rng’d out the whazoo parts of mechagon. I suppose it’s possible it’s bugged. But it’s more likely that it’s just seriously bad rng. It could take several months for chrome to appear, as ridiculous as that would be.
If I could somehow port you over to that phase of alt time, I would. But you’re pretty much SoL without encountering chromie at least once.
I don’t even think the compressed ocean is worth it. Just wait until you use it and find you have to click the perfect pixel spot to reel your catch in. It’s pretty annoying.
I like to use it. You can actually sit on top of it as it has a hidden collision point on its top. Then you use the slime boots toy and sit down. That way you end up looking like your continually pooping in the ocean. 
I use the interact button (E for me, not sure if that was the default) when I’m fishing so I don’t have to click on the bobber, I just press E to reel in my catch. 
OP, Chromie was in Mechagon yesterday 7/15/24 (at least on Llane-US) because I did her quest and the other 2 in the alternate future, and killed one of the super giant mechaspiders attacking Rustbolt and got my displacer blueprint. Sorry you’re having bad luck 
Shes supposed to show up in all at the same time from what i understand and she definitely wasnt there yesterday when I checked. GAHHHH that pizz me off. Thanks for the info
I’m sorry! What time did you check? Reset for me is off by an hour right now (daylight saving) so instead of resetting at 10am EST, reset takes place for me now at 11am EST.
Maybe you checked after 10am thinking reset was at 10, but it hadn’t reset yet, and she didn’t show up until 11? If that makes sense. I don’t know, but she was definitely up yesterday on Llane-US.
