NGL, I cannot help but associate Metallica with that “performance” from Blizzconline where the music got changed by twitch bc of copyright issues.

dance school shoots made this hell. Recent shoot I did not even know the name of the hawaiian songs (hula and tahitian dance school wife is at) in the shoot.

So? Ijs him being there now as an “advisor” isnt making any difference in improving the game. Unless he is announcing he is taking Ian’s position and given direct creative control, who cares?

Compare and contrast:
Taylor Swift makes songs about her exes.
So did Stevie Nicks … and said ex, Lindsey Buckingham, had to stand there and play guitar while she sang about it.
His role is there to also ‘improve’ creative decisions/direction etc… so he does have some creative control and seeing his history with the Company, I would not be surprised if he had a more ‘hands on’ approach than you or someone else gives his role.
Sure but his role helps on improving creative decisions, direction etc… so he still may have a nice amount of say but yes, not really exciting. I think they are using his presence as more of a hype tool as he has the ability to even make watching paint dry interesting IMO with his charisma.
Naw i disagree, ive played WoW since Vanilla. In the older content there is a clear difference in the theme of the game. Everything is “care-bear” in the game and Metzen was a staunch supporter of seperate factions and admittedly “biased for the Horde” The fact that those 2 particular things have been tossed to the side in terms of gameplay and coupled with him working with a new company, says everything about his actual influence. He is just there for appearances imo.
