I’ve been in my feels a bit since Chris Metzen came back and seeing him at Blizzcon shook me to my core. It was such a moving moment for me.

I’ve been a part of the Warcraft universe since Warcraft 2. I’ve been playing all sorts of Blizzard games since then from Starcraft 2 to World of Warcraft. I’ve been a part of the WoW community since Wrath. It’s been a huge part of my life.

I’ve had a lot of ups and downs through the years. A lot. Perhaps too many. But I need to give World of Warcraft a lot of thanks for helping me through all those tough times. If it weren’t for this beautiful game, I know I wouldn’t be here. I know I wouldn’t have been able to make it through the tough things that have come my way.

We won’t dwell on it but right now I am homeless and jobless. I’ve been living off of scraps for the last couple of months. This is one of the hardest parts of my life.

I recently got the chance to get into a hotel room for a couple of days and I got the chance to take my pc and hook it up to the wifi here and play some WoW. For whatever reason this wheel started turning in my head and now I have found a way out of the mess I am currently in.

Like I said before I’ve had many parts of my life that have been very difficult. If it weren’t for World of Warcraft, I never would have been able to make it ouf of those tough moments.

Now onto Chris Metzen. The one and only. The man. This message is directly to you.

If it weren’t for you, if it weren’t for your passion for this game. The story line. The lore. Everything you’ve ever done. If it weren’t for you, I never would have been able to make it out of all the crap I’ve been through. I know I’m just some stranger on the interwebs but you sir, the blood sweat and tears you’ve poured into this game, I appreciate SO much. If I were to thank you a billion times, it wouldn’t be enough.

From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for contributing to helping me get my life back. Thank you.

I like Chris Metzen because I was in his Twitter mentions at some point during Shadowlands replying to someone else to say that Anduin will obviously marry Wrathion (not Taelia or whoever else) and he liked my tweet which basically means it’s canon now if you think about it

Azeroth’s magic & fantasy has been there every step of the way! Through the good and difficult circumstances/situations respectively.

Recently going through a bit of a crisis. Sister allowed me to stay with her after sleeping in the back of my car for a fair bit. After 22 applications, I will be able to diddle in WoW a little bit!

chris metzen owes me 20 bucks because when i was drinking alone at applebees he came up to the bar, slapped the cosmopolitan out of my hand and said, “no one will ever believe this”

He’s not the greatest writer in the world, but he is good at world building and making things “epic.”

When I think of Warcraft I think grand and epic. It doesn’t need to be some shakespear novel, it just needs to be badass. And I think Metzen always succeeded at that.

I didn’t start playing seriously until the greatest expansion ever made. (BFA) but whoever this Chris guy is sounds cool.
