I’m making a switch to dedicating my time toward RBGs. The problem is that I’m on a weak server. In a server change can you just look for where the higher rated teams were in order to go there and work your way up? Maybe going too high up in server popularity would be a mistake. What do you think?
I’m Completely ignorant on this issue does server matter for RBG’s considering the lfg tool exists and does me being on a low pop server explain the lack of available rbg options? I have barely seen anyone playing rbg’s in a very long time.
It use to be arranged by battlegroups, clusters of servers, but I’m not clear on if it is now. You wanted to be in a strong battlegroup to not get dominated.
Don’t worry about your server so much as your friend list. Joining RBG discords is a great option too.

Battlegroups went away in MoP and everything in PvP including RBGs can be done on any server. The only thing server actually matters for nowadays is mythic raiding before the hall of fame is filled (after which it becomes x-realm) and the AH. As long as you pick a populated realm you’ll be fine on those two, but if you are just going to PvP you can be on any server and use the LFG tool to form/join groups or just join community discords to find partners or groups that way.
