I completed Defenders of the Dream on this toon. If I kill Fyrakk on a Nelf alt will they have access to the quest that leads to the Chosen Renewal armor color? Or will that Nelf have to do all the campaign parts leading up through New Beginnings, etc.?
I don’t know, because the requirements seem to be a point of confusion. Some are saying you need to do the quest to kill Fyrakk and then the quest shows up. Some say that’s not working either.

For me I already had the NE heritage all I did was kill Fyrakk. Go outside of the raid and Tyrande gave me the quest. Also I was on my NE the whole time. So im guessing you need to kill Fyrakk on a NE who already unlocked the Heritage

I still have that green barrier outside the raid so Tyrande isn’t there for my Nelf. I’ve completed the in-raid quest and got the head enchant on the Nelf.
Try to finish the whole questchains and kill Fyrakk in LFR then you’ll get it around the banket quest when you go to Amirdrassil outside of the dream. Thats kinda where I got it. Or fews quest before the banquet
Avoiding doing the ED quest line on an alt is the goal. 
Did ED, took just over 3hrs to complete it start to finish with a 5min break for food.
I think I obtained the Chosen Renewal item set by beating the quests on my Warrior, but my main question is why am I seeing this Chosen renewal item set look like nothing but a bikini on users accounts but mine looks like this large armor set?
