The following settings worked on my PC (Ryzen 3600, RTX 2070 Super, 1440p screen) but your mileage may vary.
Under graphics options, first disable Vertical Sync. Then scroll down to the options at the bottom. There are 3 options there such as “target fps”, “max foreground fps” and “max background fps”. I set them all to 75fps which matched the max refresh rate of my monitor which is 75Hz.
If you have a 60Hz screen, set them all to 60fps. If you have a weak graphics card, then probably set them all to 30fps.
After applying those settings, my graphics is now as smooth-as-silk whereas before it was borderline unplayable choppy.
