What the hooch? Hooch get on chopper and it go VROOM and then… Nothing! Hooch ride and ride and chopper not make noise. Hooch think chopper broke, but Hooch not know how to fix. Hooch want chopper to make vroom vroom sound again.

For real though, it’s dumb to remove the sound completely. At least have an option to turn it on or off, for people who want to hear the sounds. Same thing for guns too. It’s goofy to have a big hand cannon that goes “Pfft” when you shoot it.

I remember the day we got our Warlords Deathwheels. My guildies and I would leave them idling by the Alliance portals entrance in Dalaran anytime we were AFK.

You literally had the entire community complain cuz y’all did the same things 50 year old men do on their harleys when your just passing a bar. No one wants to hear your vrooms. It was the single most annoying mount in the game.

Yeah, but the sounds won’t match what I’m doing. The fun part wasn’t the sound, it was doing things on the bike and hearing the sounds match what I did. Especially the leaps and landings.
Why couldn’t Blizz mute the sound for others but let the players hear their own bikes? Is that too difficult programming-wise?

Sorry, wasn’t trying to troll it just hits close to home for me. Seeing like a group of 50 people on bikes making those darn noises with the space bar drove me nuts. I flew away as fast as possible whenever that would happen. Like a cat that hears Psssspssssspsssssp
Both my Warlord’s Deathwheel and Mimiron’s Head still have sound effects. Which mount are you referring to?
I do. It’s half the fun of the bikes.
