All addons disabled. Quest abandoned and picked up again. Reloaded game. Not in a group or raid group.
I cannot get any credit for speaking to the 4 covenant leaders nor can I talk to the table to choose one. This has started since 10.1 release. Until previously, I was able to complete this quest on other alts. Any ideas?
Same problem since yesterday after the patch. Seen a few others with the problem, I submitted a ticket last night. Hopefully this gets resolved soon
Yeah finally worked up the gumption to start trying to progress towards the proto crafting. Thanks for weighing in.

Same issue here… I’m sure it’ll EVENTUALLY get fixed… but it’ll probably be like the issue with the fishing hats where it’ll be 4 or 5 months before anything happens.

Thanks for reaching out to us about not being able to complete the quest Choosing Your Purpose. It looks like we have reports of this from other players, so I’ve added your report to the list to assist our Quality Assurance team in investigating the matter further. I did check for any steps, tips or tricks to help avoid this in the future and sadly I did not find anything that could help on this one. While the devs were able to get the deposited anima issues fixed looks like a bit more work is needed for old shadowlands content.
That being said though make sure ( if you have not already) to report the details of the bug to the devs using the Submit Bug feature that we added in game. This will send your feedback instantly and directly to our quality assurance team for review and given the report on this end will get more eyes on what is happening.

Same issue, had it for several days. Of course, I submitted a ticket, and the GM just told me to uninstall addons because at one point 3 years ago that was an issue. Blizzard; it’s you!
Bugged for me since patch release. Annoying to say the least.
And for the bug it was not on the posted character above, it is on this one the DH.

Same issue here. I had all my addons off and i don’t have the addon immersion that usually causes the problem. The thing is i’m doing it for the first time with my main character and now i’m stuck there.
Add me to the list. But I’m curious… Has this quest worked for anyone since 10.1?
Well, another one to the list, also removing addons, reloggin, delating cache and wtf. nothing works.

I was able to complete this on a different character the day before 10.1

Still bug after maintenance.
Quest is still bugged after maintence for me, too.
I got a response for a ticket which recommended I do all the usual quest issue things (re-load, turn off addons, etc) and none of that worked either.
