You’re just farming ilevel for the sake of ilevel. It’s not helping you in any way, giving you new transmogs, no new portals or the mount even. You’re making them chores all on your own, buddy. The opportunity to play the game is right there in front of you but all you care about is a little number in your character pane that’s gonna get wiped out soon. Obviously, sitting someone and getting sat sucks. But, you are asking for a fundamental change to mythic raiding that would affect all raiders. Mythic raid balancing can already get sus as is. I don’t think it would be a good idea to add more problems.
Not sure why you are posting on GD then. Raid leaders’ discord seems more suitable for you.

I will get portals at end of season after Ive collected enough weekly lootboxes to try then.
It is all about min maxing the chores, since progression isnt about effort but cheesing the weeklies. It isnt a feat of strength to fight the bad systems.
I want to push content past 10s but the esports was deleted by making it all about the weekly rng.
You call it progression because it makes you feel better about doing everything possible to remove as much challenge from the game as possible, despite spending many hours in it. I’m certain you thought remix was the greatest thing ever, but it’s okay to challenge yourself even a little you know.
People were doing 12s well before hitting 639.

Maybe for raid (possibly but unlikely) because you never lose your ascendance stacks mid-raid boss fight.
You constantly lose your ascendance stacks during a mythic plus (especially in dungeons like dawnbreaker).
You have to think a little bit about the practical usage of an embellishment as compared to the perfect usage that a sim assumes.
Every time you walk into a boss fight in mythic plus, you are likely going into it with zero ascendance stacks (and ascendance takes quite a while to fully stack).
Also the sims assume that you are using blood lust with full ascendance stacks (even in raid scenarios). So if your raid group casts blood lust before your ascendance fully stacks, then you are not going to be getting the full simmed value of your weapon embellishment.
Sometimes sims don’t tell you the full story.

Literally this thread exists because it is trashed up atm and the esports aspect is in a ruined state.
You’re making a conscious choice to treat the game this way. It has nothing to do with Blizzard that you’ve forgotten how to play a game for the challenge or experience and not make-number-go-up. Some kid playing roblox or minecraft is more of a gamer than you are.

Flex mythic is the only way I can ever hope to dabble in current content mythic. My current circle of friends can’t field 20 competent raiders and I don’t want to change guild. I did 10m heroic siege of orgrimmar before the change and loved it.
This isn’t a discussion, it’s you whining about Blizzard not giving you the max possible ilevel for the minimum possible effort. SIXTY FIVE mists runs, no crafted pieces, no effort at all on your part. Stop posting and play the game.

If they want more than minimum effort and if they also want the esports to happen, they need to actually make the progression meaningful and not about the weekly timegate chores.

Mythic raiding will give you more agency over loot.
Your random mentions of “esports” don’t even make sense in the context of increasing your ilevel or running mid-level keys. You have the opportunity to deterministically improve your character’s power by crafting 636 items using the crests and sparks you are already earning every week, but have chosen not to do so because…reasons.

I want to mythic raid but mythic id lockouts are a non starter. Actually unfun to even acknowledge it exists.

I can sim up and down, left and right and the fact of the matter is that the dps swing is negligible. It’s a 1.7k dps loss to recraft w/ Crit Embellishments on ST in a pool of 1.431 million dps. Even in a Mythic+ with stacks falling it’s not worth the hassle of recrafting.
We’re talking a single % up or down at most.
