Choose your Fantasy Game

Although I don’t see myself going away from World of Warcraft (WoW), The Elder Scrolls Online, or Final Fantasy 14, if you would leave WoW, which game would you choose? If you would stay in WoW, what would you do in order to keep yourself busy?

If I ever leave WoW, and FF14 is still active, I would go there. But I enjoy mining, herbing, fishing, and doing some PVE quests and raids, I don’t see myself leaving any time soon.

If I leave wow im done with mmorpgs unless something amazing comes out.

I am going to stay with WoW until it shuts down. It may be in a bad state but I don’t like the other options. That may change once we have more info on the new LOTR mmorpg in development. It is being made by the company that publishes warframe so it should have a good model. The lore is already there for them and it is strong. They just need decent gameplay

World of Warcraft for me.

Runescape. That was pretty much my childhood game, and I still find some appeal to the eternal grind that is its skill leveling.

Oh yes, I liked what I read about this new MMORPG. Let’s hope it brings competition to other MMO’s.

FF14s profession system is a million times better than WoWs though.

Right now p99 everquest…mostly what I play now …will poke my head back when flying hits WoW

I play WoW and FFXIV somewhat equally. Some weeks I play one more than the other.

I think I too will be done with MMORPG’s if I leave WoW (which is looking very likely lately. Currently I have little play time so haven’t played in several months and have almost lost all desire to play. BFA was fun through the zones and quests but it’s just boring now and I haven’t even done really many dungeons let alone raids so who knows if I will be back.

Other MMORPG’s are boring too. FFXIV is/was fun for maybe a couple of weeks last time I tried to get back into it after leaving ESO. ESO I will NEVER go back too, as much as I love that game, ZOS has completely ruined it with the excessive greed!

I HATE the ridiculous amount of micro-transactions in games, especially MMO’s and anything online which has pushed me away from a lot of games so I’ve been a bit more into my Nintendo Switch and some other non-MMO PC games lately.

If Bliz would finally release the Zandalari Trolls and flying then MAYBE I’ll be back.

I’d go into the past and play Final Fantasy Tactics for the first time again.

Warcraft is the only MMO that has really kept my attention and I’ve tried 3 others.

If Warcraft went down I’d be done with MMOs UNLESS they made an Overwatch one. I’d play that.

Tell me a better MMORPG, that’d keep me interested for years and years, as WoW has, and I’d try it.

Because I’ve tried many over the years, and… Nope.

I only purchased three mounts (which now I regret). Micro transactions should have been steered away from this game. Maybe I’m wrong, but during Vanilla, BC, and WOTLK there were little to no micro transactions. Now, this is becoming a great annoyance in the game. I am steering away from these and I am focusing only on playing and earning my mounts.

probably FF online, ESO was fun but the pvp aspect is sorta wonky, not sure how stable everything is with it these days but yeah…

Same here. I haven’t found too many mmorpgs that spark my interest for long.

Only thing that would get me to leave is someone buying the Everquest ip that actually gave a damn.

Otherwise I love Final Fantasy so I could see going there maybe, but im fairly happy in WoW so dont see myself leaving anytime soon.

MMO’s aren’t the only genre

I do not believe I said it was the only genre.

Right now I play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 … Much better game than WoW, even though it’s twenty years old.
