Choker of the Firelord.. for Healers?

Got it, so stat weights aren’t necessarily definitive are they. According to my stat weights (Priest) the Choker is better than the Animated Chain, by a wide margin, in fights that are 2 mins or less. But, I would pass to a DPS class as well, just wanted to see what others thought.

Well give your numbers. Then we can decide if you’re insane or not

Looking at it i don’t see how that could be true but maybeee

Heal: 1
Spirit: 0.8275
Int: 2.3226
MP5: 3.5
Crit: 8

As a holy priest? Its not, because of Spiritual Guidance (which every holy priest should have maxed) which will convert the 6 spirit on that neck into an additional 1.5 spellpower.

stat weight stat weight stat weight stat weigh stat weight stat weigh stat weight…

Jesus dude, we get it.

You give int a 2.3 stat weight relative to heals…What?

You’re valuing int and mp5 higher than paladins? lol

Spirit is 1/3rd the value of int?

lol ok yea you either just made that up or are insane

I don’t htink most of them do dude

He’s just lying ignore him

I’m just proving the point it’s not arbitrary he thinks it is

Again, based on 2 min fights, this is what I’ve been using. Longer fight stat weights are below. Using the stat weights below, the Chain is better by 1 slot.

Heal: 1
Spirit: 0.8275
Int: 0.4351
MP5: 3.5
Crit: 8

And, when you factor in the additional spell dmg provided while I am PvPing/Farming, then the Choker gets even more desirable.

When it comes to overall raid progression it isn’t about who deserves it more but rather how can 40 people make the dungeon easier/faster to clear in the future.

If you use MC as an example here the standard raid will have 8-10 healers and the rest being dps. I’d say there will be at least 10 casters per run. Imagine if you could give 10 healers the neck and then give 10 casters the neck too. Who would benefit from it more? Without a doubt dps. Added damage over time scales much better as things die faster over a given time frame.

…You don’t factor in your farm to pve bis

And by your stat weights if you did the math it seems to me the chain is 37.8 and the choker is like 37.3 dunno too lazy to finish math. Sooooo yea

no choker is 36.9 or something

Poor Tin. He always posts solid math, and gets told he’s wrong or doesn’t understand how RNG works, when in fact, he understands it better than all the people saying otherwise.

I’ll say it on behalf of Tin…

An item with a 12% drop chance does indeed have 12% chance to drop every individual encounter. That is a single event. The odds are the same on encounter 25 as they are on encounter 1.

The chance of not seeing an item with a 12% drop chance after X amount of runs is (1 - 0.12) ^ X. This is a series of identical events.

Single event vs series of events people.

Maybe someday Tin you’ll get the appreciation you deserve on those posts.

Your math is off, I get the following using the 2 min fight stat weights.

Choker: 50.24
Animated: 38.79

wut lol those are not the numbers u get form teh stat weights you posted

choker = 34 + (7 x .4 ) = ~36.8

Chain = 33 + (6 x .8) = ~37.8

50? lol

I hate the people debating stat weights. A couple have no clue what they’re talking about and the one who does is a d****canoe

You are using the stat weights for long fights, not the first set I posted for fights that are 2 mins or less.

The first set is stupid u don’t need int for short fights u have consumes

only your second set makes any sense

ok carrot
