We’ll know after weekly reset if the scheduled faction change beings with it the opportunity to advance the achievement even if you already bought the gem.
I still find it likely that the achievement is timegated even if acquisition of the gems isn’t.
Each attacking faction has a weekly quest associated with it. The first week had “Legacy of the Vrykul” and it awarded the Roaring War-Queen’s Citrine. It stands to reason that the remaining two for naga and pirates will follow suit. (The names of that gem as well as the two in my topic title also match their respective factions.)
Likely, yes. Intended, up to interpretation. I don’t think whoever designed that achievement expected the gem acquisition to be opened up to be so free compared to the original intention.
Either way, the Shuddering Hollow bug has proven that we aren’t likely to see any fixes or changes before the new year, so we’ll all have earned this achievement by the time Blizzard is back in the office.
Same issue here I bought the Legendary Skipper’s Citrine and its the only one thats not showing up on the achievement. hopefully there’s a fix for this
The fix is wait until pirate week next reset, because there are no Blizzard developers working right now until 2025. You got credit for Seabed Leviathan’s Citrine this morning because it is the reward from the Serpent’s Wrath weekly for naga week.
Same issue, I have it in my ring and equipped, achievement is not completed.
