What’s with people always using the word “Chinese” In front of the phrase “Gold Farmers”
How do people know what nationality a player is? Wouldn’t it be a bot farming the gold? If so then it’s not even a human so Chinese wouldn’t fit.

When WoW was dealing with gold farming back in the day, there were news reports of people being forced to play WoW to farm gold from China.

All kidding aside - I’m serious.
That said - remember gold was so hard to come by in vanilla sometimes you couldn’t train all your available skills at the trainer…waiting to get that rank 2 attack…now that’s immersion!
