i dont know much about china but that 3 hr online gaming thing for kids dont seem bad considering everyone spends way to much time online for whatever do us some good not like kids wont find a way around it anyway unless internet is just shut off.
Yeah… then people start dying and companies get kicked out of the country. Everything in China exists at the whim of the government. That is what a Totalitarian government does. Do you think that any other nation will actually stand up to anything they do within their own borders? No.
They have a 2.6 million person military and nuclear weapons. They could probably increase their military to over 10 million practically overnight through conscription/draft. It gives them the ability to do almost whatever they want within their borders.

They care about exerting their authority over their masses. They get a kick out of showing their citizens who’s the master since the people cant do anything about it.

Doesn’t mean companies are forced to trade with them. It’s pandering to the highest bidder. If companies just stopped, China might eventually start playing fairly with their citizens. I mean, this stuff can get scary:

This has everything to do with their military. They are watching this “WOKE” deal going on in this country, laughing their butts off as we destroy each other over words, gender, and all the nonsense that goes with it. I actually applaud China for stopping the demasculating of their males! Its exactly what this country needs. Mandatory 2 years of military service should also be required!
If I had the power over activion-blizzard that China has, then I would have made them remove elves as a playable race a long time ago.
I doubt China can compete with Facebook when it comes to collecting and compiling data on citizens, er, I mean consumers.
