You mean the guy that endorsed Bernie Sanders.

IIRC Bernie is all about better quality of life for workers.

Idk…Hiring people base on color of skin and gender over qualifications is not a good look.

I just hope whoever this is was hired based on merits without regards to race/gender/religion/etc., just like everyone should be for any role.

You know people care when they lock comments on wowhead.

So what? did you seriously make a post on what the community feels about a black woman getting hired?

Good thing nobody is doing that. This only happens in the imagination of scared boys on the internet. :+1:t6:

I’ve never flown a commercial plane before, but American Airlines pays for all of my hotel fees. With that said, flight AA012 will be departing in 30 minutes.

You boarding?

Oh…right, knew there was a reason you were on ignore. Need to make note of who else agrees with your caveman views.

I wish her well and hoping for the best. Can only hope that the company is truly changing.

No need to insult me unprovoked. Are you open to a discussion, or is ignorance the best you can do as ambassador for your people?

These people are ridiculous, the audacity they think they have to judge a person based on them getting hired, like it’s none of their business… the woman just wants to make money, leave her alone.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at. But thank you for letting us all know you have no idea how anything actually works in the business world.

That’s nice in theory, but when you move out of mom’s basement and enter the workforce, you’ll maybe notice that things are a little more complicated.

People don’t make choices based on facts. They do what they want, then find ways to justify it after the fact. This has been shown over and over again in studies of decision-making.

It’s really easy for biases and prejudices to be the actual reason to choose one person over the other, and then go back and find some justification for the decision that seems “neutral”. When people talk about “fitting in to the corporate culture”, that’s often code for “we hire who we feel comfortable with”. If you have prejudices, conscious or unconscious, guess what makes you uncomfortable? People that are in any way different.

Unless I’m missing something this is a really weird random post and I totally love it.
