1000s of kills later for the chicken and were about to give up. Any tips?

Thousands is pretty rough though.
Don’t think I’ve ever made through Tanaris, Hinterlands or Feralas without seeing it multiple times.
Just to make sure, you’re not farming it in a raid group are you? Not sure if that would even matter but since you can’t get normal quest drops in a raid maybe this works the same way if that’s what you’re doing.
Yeah i had to take a break. Were in a 3 man group just mindless killing at this point. Our guild member got it on kill 7. One of the worst drop rates in the game IMO
Kill woodpaws and don’t stay in a group is your teammates already have the item. We were two man team and both got the item in 3-4 kills. Accepted the q. The 3rd member joined, killed 20+ nothing. He dropped group, aggro the mobs, we helped kill. He got his in 5 kills,
I got one off in like 2 minutes of farming pirates it was pretty easy
What is this? A chicken pet that drops from npcs?
Its the escort quest.
The trick is to just say ‘lfg beacon’, get an invite from a 4man and after they’ve wasted an hour of their time with bad rng, it drops on the second mob you kill together.
Or just find 2 other people so you kill faster.
