Chest for Treasure Map from Galissa Sundew at Faire

Issue with an in game quest.
I fished up the fish to give Galissa Sundew at the dark moon faire to get the Faded Treasure map. That started a quest, I followed the quest clues until the end. When I clicked on the chest under the water it didn’t give the anticipated reward.
It became ticket # US81223664

I took a look at this for you and it does not appear to be anything that our development team is aware of at the moment. I have added a report to our testers based on your ticket, so it should hopefully be looked at soon. :slight_smile:

I can only advise you to check the clues and final chest again to see if you can hand it in.

We have simplified the way you can report any kind of bug from within the game by the way. All you have to do is simply to click the red question mark button as when you wish to create a ticket, but instead then click the option to “Submit Bug”, as that will take you to an interface where you can report exactly what is bugged for you and it will be sent directly to our testers instead of having to go through us, ensuring a faster process. ^^

It’s basically exactly the same as you’ve just done here, it’s just faster. If the bug is already known, it will add your report to the investigation as well and if we are not aware of it yet, your report will start a new investigation, automatically. :slight_smile:

Current Status:
The chest doesn’t respawn if I go back there it’s not there and I no longer have the quest listed it has just disappeared from my quest list. I do still have some of the clues in my bag.

Also I don’t know why the image is of my priest. This happened on my mage Michariella.

So to reiterate: you did all the clue quests to locate the treasure chests, opened the treasure chest, and nothing happened?

That is pretty weird. Someone else had an issue a bit ago with a chest not giving them loot, and they had to log into a different toon to loot the chest. That won’t be such an easy solution since you’ll have to get 100 more Daggerfish to do the questline again.

It is unfortunate that the GM couldn’t reset the questline for you. Maybe you could try writing another ticket and asking nicely about that. Or see if they can just mail the chest contents to you. Otherwise, I’d recommend following through with the in-game Bug Report thing.

Besides that, the only other option would be to maybe check your mage’s mailbox for mail from the postmaster or just do the questline on another character. The clues always remain in your inventory after the quest completes, by the way.
