So, I love the new Cheetah Glyph, and I replaced my Runestag travel form with it in the barber shop.
I have Mount Form keybound separately from Travel Form, and I’ve had it that way so long that I just think of one as flight and the other as ground. I use the Mount Form keybind as a sort of “ground travel” when I’m in ZM, for example, using the forge tap. When I want to fly, I use Travel Form.
This does not translate to the cheetah glyph because it cannot be mounted, so it forces the default stag when you use Mount Form after selecting Cheetah. At this point, literally the only places in the game that I can ever use cheetah form are Oribos and Korthia. Am I in a minority for wanting the flight form separated this way? Maybe I’m just one of a handful of people who care and everyone else likes it the way it is?
It seems to me that having Travel Form for ground mount, Mount Form for riding ground mount, and Flight Form for flying mount…makes the most sense. Flight Form is already a separate spell in the book; it’s just passive. So, make it active and let us bind it. That’s my suggestion. Otherwise, we never get to see the Cheetah.
I thought I’d run this by the druid forum and see what you all think of it.
