Checks sale... checks bnet balance... click checkout and reminded of tax

Not only are the prices always weird, then I’m reminded of the tax they put in a few or so yrs ago. :sob:

You can thank your local government for that one.

Yep. Blizzard has no say in taxes or fees required by law in various states/provinces/countries.

Those are completely determined by government.

Surprisingly, California does NOT charge sales tax for digital purchases. One benefit for a thousand cons lol

Wow that’s a surprise. I get charged 9% sales tax on Blizzard purchases.

Whenever I get audited they ask me why I shop at Dairy Queen so much.

Oh and… you’re welcome.

Ah sales tax. Makes me thankful I live in the cheapest sales tax province!

Did you know avoiding taxes by using a proxy is not legal if they can find a way to track you? The more you know.

The Beatles called it.

If you drive a car, car
I’ll tax the street
If you try to sit, sit
I’ll tax your seat
If you get too cold, cold
I’ll tax the heat
If you take a walk, walk
I’ll tax your feet

That wasn’t for you… I’m a herbalist. I like to plant seeds.

Sorry, I identify as tax exempt. Any attempts to get me to pay taxes on any purchase, income, or property will be reported as harassment and hate speech.

In that case I identify as an internet mugger. Send me all of your gold.

Sheesh, that’s my first time using that joke too. Got old fast, huh?

I also identify as broke, so… :flushed:

If someone to be cheer up about taxes, I live in Quebec, my income tax is at 37% and we also have a sales tax of 15%.

Let’s just say the AH cut was never an issue for me lol

Must be quite popular to identify as broke. I see a lot of people identify as such.
