The Blizz store has a heap of cool ones going cheap.
This thing is so much better than the normal mouse pads. Keeps everything nice and even across the desk. Although it’s prolly gonna be a pain in the butt to clean / wash.
Anyway, to be the best you need to have the best. I’ve found my gameplay has improved since using this. The fibres are so tightly stitched together that you get a flawless movement across the mat. Perfect for raiding and battlegrounds.

Your attention to fire safety preparedness is laudable. Also, do youth use your mouse left handed, or is this some camera mirror/trickery/stuff?

I play left handed but I’m right handed normally.
Oh, and another thing. Because the keyboard is on the right side I don’t get to see Tracers face.
The sacrifices we make to game well.
I am sorry for your loss.

i thought curved monitors were supposed to be bigger
Depends what size you get. Mine is 32 inch but it shrinks in the colder weather.
isnt the purpose of a curved monitor to work with your peripheral vision better? how are you going to activate your peripheral vision with 32 inches?
That camera angle makes the monitor look a bit weird. If you sit in front of it it’s fine.
But in saying that…I did have another 32" monitor and it died a few months back so I bought another one. Same brand, size etc. But when I unpacked this one the curve was more extreme than my last Samsung. I’m used to it now but at first it was annoying.
When this one dies I’ll go back to normal flat screens and get a 34" one.
I usually wash mine in a gentle cycle in the wash and then hang it up for a bit. I never dry it in the dryer.

Curved monitors are mostly a sales gimmick unless you are working with something like the 49" ultra wide screens.
I have a 27" Samsung curved that I was all excited to get because it was curved and that was the new thing. The curve was so shallow that it was pointless. When I upgraded to a 32" I went flat and it’s fine. The curved screen is now my second monitor off to the side so the curve actually does have a tiny bit of use now.
yeah that’s what I was saying
like putting those medieval flying buttresses you see on cathedrals on your crappy 5,000 square foot house
even 49’ is a little too small to justify a curved screen, you really need something that is like 7’ wide
I think it all depends on how close you sit to the monitor. If you are right up close a 49" UW can have an effect. They are almost 4 feet in actual width, so if you are a standard distance away the edges are going to be right at the limits of your peripheral. The curve will make it easier to see it all without turning your head. Anything much bigger and you are getting into full surround simulator territory and that is probably better achieved with a multiple display setup.
If you sit back any distance though the curve is going to become less and less of a benefit the farther you go.
if I ever get the money I’m getting a monitor and sound system so big I get PTSD from playing games
I want to feel gaming artillery strikes vibrating inside my chest cavity
I’d venture to say your gameplay would improve again if you ditch the “gaming mat”
I have a gaming mat, but mine is on the floor so I can poop and pee on it like im a horse in a stall
What is that orange thing on that lady’s face supposed to be?
This picture is obviously doctored and fake. I see no tissue box and hand lotion within the frame.
