Check Bronze Vendors with each class

Just when I thought I finally bought everything, a toy, Skull of Corruption, showed up specifically ONLY for Demon Hunters to see. I don’t know why they did it that way since everything else is available regardless who views the vendor. Now I’m going to double check on all classes to see if anything else does this.

Pull down menu at the vendors has an All option

So I tried that on my Paladin selecting the All button at the bottom of the menu, it did not show up in his list. Jump back on Demon Hunter and there it is. So this item definitely is Demon Hunter specific to see it.

I am also seeing “Shard of Darkness” on Paladin that doesn’t show up for Demon Hunter, also selecting All.

Is it for a DH hidden artifact appearance?

Hmm the Shard is for Ret Paladin appearance. Skull of Corruption does not appear to be so and its a toy specific to Demon Hunters to use.

Thanks = )

I did get the ret pally hidden appearance and finally finished the 2 other colors a couple days ago. The red one fits this mog perfectly.

I just noticed the pally item a couple days ago. Didn’t see anything unique when I checked on my hunter, monk, or lock. Curious if you find any other goodies when you’re checking things out.

Hunter gets Designs of the Grand Architect from Horos, but I suspect you probably already have it previously so it won’t show up.

Rogues can buy Tome of Otherworldly Venoms for Horos for Sub appearance.

you want to tell me i have to create a deamon hunter and earn 100k bronze …

Only if you want to sit and gaze at a skull like Hamlet.

A blessing upon you and your house, Lawkie! With those two links, you have saved me an inordinate amount of bother.

Thank you, I totally didn’t realise some of the artifacts were easier to get now, and gotten some new ones.

Bronze can be transferred among your remix characters. I purchased the toy by creating a level 10 demon hunter, skipping the intro quests, and transferring bronze to buy it.

Definitely different things for each class. One has a toy no one else has for 100k.

Ug. I really don’t want to make a bunch of throwaway characters.

I guess I’ll have some time to think about it.

You shouldn’t have to level them, so it’s like 45 seconds per character at most.

On that note has anyone ever deleted so many characters they reached some kind of limit? Or does the game automatically purge older ones? I’m sure most of my deleted character list at this point is just my Lemix toons.

So I checked each vendor with every class. Absolutely zero difference to their wares except pally had that thing for their hidden artifact and hunter had one as well. Both for their hidden artifacts. No new mogs. No new toys. Nothing.

I know, but I’m getting hung up on a personal principle that making a character matters.

I don’t like remix’s temporary nature and I don’t like making throwaway characters,

(I have sort of done it in the past with a free account I’ve used to make a running-of-the-gnomes alt or a classic death knight/pandaran that I never intend to touch ever again after doing promotions, but technically the characters still exist)

I justify participating in remix with the fact that I’ll be transferring my character over in the end, so I can pretend it’s just a long exile island. Making a character i intend to let wink out of existence just to access a vendor, even though it’s a quick solution that won’t change anything about the end-state of my account in the end, crosses a line in how I’m playing the game that I don’t want to cross.

( I don’t know if my self-imposed taboos make sense to anyone else, but I think I may actually be willing to accept not collecting some things I could have collected to preserve them )

I feel you, Eternosus. Even when Covid lockdown had me no-lifing WoW, FFxiv, and SWTOR simultaneously, I cannot make and play a character that I don’t feel some kind of attachment to.

That more than anything has held me back from making a mechagnome, I feel actual revulsion just seeing one in character creation. No, just no.

I slogged my way through the whole process with an earthen, but have not touched it since that toon dinged 80.

Last remix, I kept my main Remix alt, but was weeks making the decision to delete the rest of that lot. This time, I went in confident that I would make just one Remix character… I failed in that and have had to force myself to delete them one by one as soon as they hit 80.

For me, having no feels for a character equates having no feels for what I’m doing in game. That leads me to question why I am doing it. When I get to that point, I never have a good answer for that. BFA and SL eroded almost every fiber of good will I felt for WoW. This remix hasn’t restored anything.
