Hey all, can you please assist on getting these cheaters banned in arenas. We are getting deserter + free mmr/rating loss or 45 minutes of time wasted with nothing of our control. These players are hacking outside of the arena, and it’s becoming more common.

Buddy it’s classic the mode is legit fire and forget they don’t care unless it’s rmt.
It is classic, so it may very well be of less of a priority. But they recently swatted a good number of classic r14 wanna be try hards for afk honor grinding in AV for gear/parsing or whatever.
So, if you are aware of cheating, put it togther in an email. Be as specific and detailed as possible and send it into: hacks@blizzard.com.
If you have names-server of specific cheaters, add those. If you have videos, you can send those links in as well.
Keep doing this each time you see it in game. Also, if you can right-click report them as this captures back end info that helps.

i dont think they care even if it’s RMT. Classic was fully abandoned at some point towards the end of wrath.
When the first LK kill was bagged the devs abandoned it

There was a post less than an hour ago from someone pickachu faced asking why the suspension in Customer Support. Blue responded and turns out it was two weeks for non participation in BGs (almost certainly classic AV).
Report the cheaters and send in the info (what, where, who, when, etc) to hacks@blizzard.com as noted above. Investigations take time.
Ya afkin bgs to get honor is one thing and idc if people do that tbh since you can’t compare it to fly hacking in an arena and going outside the walls to not even have to play the game and force people to afk out and get a timer OR waste 47mins to draw it out.
Actually so insane that they’ll ban you for 2 weeks first offense for something like this but let scripters/cheaters/hackers/enters reign free
There won’t be any complaint posts in Customer Support from players cheating at the level you’re tallking about, and no suspensions either. It’ll be an account ban for them, pretty darn sure.
These take time, the investigations. Do report htem. Those players will get hit.
Who knows if the cheaters will make new accounts and try again. It’s a weird fetish getting accounts banned and making new ones, Some players do it, though. Anyway, gotta keep reporting them.

wont happend, friend of mine cheating, got banned in retail after 1 Month, while in Classic, still not banned since Tbc
Classic server have Zero gm Moderation, they dont care about the small playerbase from these classic servers
