I’m making a pretty wild assumption here and am going with the fact that you’ve never actually read what the ToC and all of the legal mumbo jumbo. The game that you bought was access to the latest features and leveling experience. The subscription you pay for is actually only access to their servers. Beyond that? Nothing is guaranteed, not even the game’s uptime.
What you’re raging about is how it has always been. With the achievement points you’re rocking on your posting account, you’ve not been with us for very long, unless you’ve got another older account. No one is forcing you to report every perceived cheater or botter, but if you’re not reporting it and Fred over there isn’t, and Eugene over there isn’t either? Then you lose any right to complain about it because again - that makes you part of the problem. If no one is reporting these questionable behaviors, then you really are waiting for Blizzard’s system to catch up to the current behavior it scans for. It does catch it in time, but it goes a long way to have those player reports.
And if you’re that enraged about how the systems work? Then the great news is that no one is forcing you to endure it. There are other games out there.
If I were (which, I absolutely am not, just for the record), don’t you think I would hit the jackpot if Blizzard provided all of the information you think that you’re asking for and are seeming entitled to?
It does and then some. Their monthly subscription fee has not been raised by the company since it’s inception. Sure, the expansions are getting a bit pricier each round, but the content features and quality has also skyrocketed since Classic WoW began. Just because you don’t see instantaneous results does not mean that they’re not working on breaking and wiping out the bots. Heck, some poor guy has recently had his account permanently closed due to supposed cheating/hacking and all of that, who came here looking for help. There is always some movement here or there even between the large botting/cheating waves. Just because you aren’t seeing it doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening.
Report or don’t report, that is your choice. No one is forcing you to, but if you care so much for the game and it’s economy - then that is part of the whole kit and kaboodle. If you’re not seeing the results you desire, no one is forcing you to pay and remain a customer. If you have suggestions, I’m sure Blizzard would love to hear them, and that isn’t sarcasm. They have their ways of collecting suggestions and feedback, but this forum is not one of them. If you choose to take your business elsewhere? That is your right and I sincerely mean it that I do wish you well wherever your gaming takes you.
