Hi, I want to use my alts to create 3 Leatherworking crafting orders to fulfill the Weekly for my Main toon (Like I did in DF), but I’m not sure what the cheapest one is that uses the cheapest mats.
It looks like the easiest one is Hideshapers Cover? But it’s showing a 1,600 gold material value? Am I missing something? Thanks.
With the mats being at the price they are… Id look at the prof equipment. Hideseeker’s hat? Uses the basic leather and mails, nothin fancy. But really do take a look at the patrons. It is your source of AA and some have nice KPs item too, more reward for mats you are pretty much wasting anyway.
I think either the cuffs or one of the profession tools. You should be able to make them for about 400ish gold depending on leather prices.

I went with the Mail Bracers (lowest ilvl 500 I had for a TWW recipe) and they’re pretty cheap to make with my own mats that I been skinning while leveling up and doing stuff.
Hey maybe you realized after using them, but you know patron orders (NPC orders) count for that quest too? So you should be able to do it just with those, and not have to do the alt shuffle anymore. Save yourself the 60 gold and 3 silver 
I was reading about those, but they are supposedly more expensive?
Patron orders do work but a lot of the time people have trouble crafting what’s being ordered, either their skill is too low or the recipe is locked behind rep/specialization.
Some are expensive. For instance on my Blacksmith, there are few that want 40k worth of materials. They are hit or miss right now.
I’m not sure if it’s an oversight by Blizzard or they designed Patron Orders to be a Gold sink.
Probably going to be a fix for this, try sending DF item to be made. It worked for me for JC since most of the JC TWW reagents you want to save and cost a lot.
I think a big issue with Jewel Crafting is the sheer amount of Crushed Gemstones you need for so many recipes. That requires destroying 3 gems in order to get some.
If they dropped it from 30 to 3, it would a lot more reasonable.
