But isn’t it all relative? If you want rank 1, you’re going to have to play to whatever the top MMR is. The people chasing elite and stopping aren’t in your pool of players you are up against for rank 1. Rank 1 players aren’t hitting 2400 and stopping, they sit much higher. It won’t impact them.

I fear no explanation can resolve that which you are misunderstanding right now.

Shadowdance will allow it to ignore the cd once or twice so Sub will still cheap shot the entire team on its go with those two charges. According to what I saw anyway when watching streams and seeing social media links photos and responses.

tldr they gave it perma ebon might at 200% effectiveness and also doubled all their damage while halving the globals it takes to upkeep.

i don’t look at dps monk but mw tree is lookin pretty good. 100% uptime on 50% healing buff, passive Soothing Mist beams which will proc a lot of talents, better nodes and placements; i doubt its better than what other healers got though after seeing some of these tank/dps changes. definitely addressed a lot of problems it has currently though.

instead of fixing it they are just removing it so its ability number 4 that has been broken since launch and never fixed to just be removed because they dont wanna dedicate the dev time to fixing it

CC reset timer lowered to 16 sec should be have been left unchanged or even increased to “nice number” 20 seconds for clarity on their upcoming DR UI

Nice, soul link down to 5% from 10, which was also brought down from 20 the prior expansion. That’s exactly what was needed.

They might as well remove it next expansion.

these changes feel very similar leaning to gw2, which at its core has a great pvp model.

you don’t really get rewarded for spamming cc, moreso using cc at really optimal times like to kick a heal. you’re typically not being chain cc’d in that game and yet, at its core, its very skillful fast interactions/trades to outplay opponents. they also have buffs like “stability” which makes you immune to the next cc, as we’ve seen now with multiple changes to healers getting these psuedo immunities (gem, shroud etc); likewise stability can also be purged.

i’m not entirely sure how this model will work out without everyone having access to iframes like they do in that game though, maybe it’ll be ok since our cds are overtime and not just 1 button will destroy u if u don’t dodge. idk.
