tldr they gave it perma ebon might at 200% effectiveness and also doubled all their damage while halving the globals it takes to upkeep.
i don’t look at dps monk but mw tree is lookin pretty good. 100% uptime on 50% healing buff, passive Soothing Mist beams which will proc a lot of talents, better nodes and placements; i doubt its better than what other healers got though after seeing some of these tank/dps changes. definitely addressed a lot of problems it has currently though.

these changes feel very similar leaning to gw2, which at its core has a great pvp model.
you don’t really get rewarded for spamming cc, moreso using cc at really optimal times like to kick a heal. you’re typically not being chain cc’d in that game and yet, at its core, its very skillful fast interactions/trades to outplay opponents. they also have buffs like “stability” which makes you immune to the next cc, as we’ve seen now with multiple changes to healers getting these psuedo immunities (gem, shroud etc); likewise stability can also be purged.
i’m not entirely sure how this model will work out without everyone having access to iframes like they do in that game though, maybe it’ll be ok since our cds are overtime and not just 1 button will destroy u if u don’t dodge. idk.
