I’m looking to create a macro that I can click to whisper people in chat. So, I want to be able to click their name in chat so it opens the Whisper chat bar and then click a macro that would have my message in it, have the macro paste that into the Whisper and send it. Does anybody know how to write something like that?
Just type the words you want to send into the macro. Don’t include any slash commands on the front of it.
Clicking the macro will immediately send the message to them, you won’t be able to append to it or anything.
I’ve done that, but it sends to last person I messaged, I want to be able to send it to someone I have not messaged yet. Just click their name in chat and click macro to send.
Mine sends to whoever I’m currently set to whisper (the person whose name I just clicked on in chat).
