On the primary chat tab, I have configured it to only allow specific “chat traffic”. It allows for: say, emote, yell, achievement announce, raid, raid leader, raid warning, instance, and instance leader.
Under other: honor, reputation, skill-ups, currency, money, loot, BG Horde, BG Alliance, BG Neutral, system messages, errors, ignored, (creature) say, (creature) yell.
At the moment, whispers continue to come through and announcements that have been explicitly disabled continue to proliferate to the primary chat tab. Additionally, ITEM LOOT continues to turn itself back on each time the game is loaded.
I am not sure why this is happening, I made no changes to the way it was configured prior to pre-patch. It is now working improperly. The other tabs appear to retain their functionality - it is only the primary chat tab.
