Ran by a group of alliance so I dismounted and stealthed. A warrior runs toward me and then charges me from like 30 yards away. What would make him be able to target me instantly from that far away? Thinking stealth bugged and he was able to keep me targeted because he charged as soon as he was in range it seemed.I was stealthed for about 10 sec before so he shouldn’t have had me targeted still.
Human? Might have popped perception
Cats eye goggles and human racial maybe? With cats eye elixir. Should be able to spot from a long way away.
Perception most likely, I can see any stealth from 20+ yards
OP alliance racial.
It’s something buggy with stealth.
There’s like a delay to where the game doesn’t recognize you’re actually in stealth mode.
Had pets chase me in stealth, had people hit me with spells that require a target, you name it.
Additionally to what others above have said, would batching have any effect?
Or spell batching?
Was there a warlock in the group with a felhunter out? The Paranoia buff is a huge buff to stealth detection, about 6 levels worth. Not enough to see through stealth at 30 yards alone but when combined with other things it might be enough.
Perception can add another 10 levels, Catseye Ultra Goggles add another 3 or so levels, Catseye Elixir adds another 2 levels.
So with all of them you can get about 21 extra levels of stealth detection. Of course most of that is a 20 second buff every 3 minutes, you have to be a bit lucky or know there’s a rogue there to use it.
Zugzug stun resist, calling something OP. lol
I’m telling people 90% of the time I come across a rogue I’m the one to initiate him
Not even with felhunter out, just perception and with catseye goggles
Also maybe lag on your end or his end but Idk
This is def a thing. My pet remembers the target and when the rogue vanishes, the pet doesn’t care and stays locked on. Bug or a feature? Eye of the beholder…
Feature, Blizzard said that in one of the Classic bug/not bug lists. If a pet is sent after a unstealthed unit then it will continue to chase it even after it stealths.
Dorfdorf it’s called humor. You tried with the condescending zugzug but well. Keep trying.
Human perception + fel puppy is crazy.
I didnt see a warlock just a mage warrior and druid. Seemed really far to just be perception. And he wasn’t wearing catseye he had t2 helm. I dont think batching because I was in stealth for about 10 sec. It seemed like he never lost me as a target and he ran right at me like I didnt stealth.
Orc resists 4 charge stuns in a row, ali can see a stealth every 3 mins, ali op…
You’re making stuff up. Some of those are intercept resists and you know it.
I assure you. Rngesus has never given such favor to any of my orcs. Charge. Stun. Spamstring. Spamstring. Spamstring. Spamstring. Spin jump. Dazed and dead.
I don’t know what orcs Rngesus favors but it isn’t this one.
Zug zug. Me not that kind of orc.
True, that was certainly overstated. Although it is +25% resist all the time vs +10 levels of stealth detection 11% of the time. Not exactly comparable, I think that if people had a choice between the two they would take the former.
