so I dunno whether to put this here or in Bug Report because it is technically working as intended… sort of. Basically the charged bolts power attacks a random enemy target within 40 yards. This needs to change. Right now. Because it is pulling enemies that are not in combat, and is going to be an utter disaster in M+ and Delves where you’re trying to pull one pack at a time. This needs to be hotfixed right now so that it only hits enemies that are actively in combat.
Case in Point: just did the Freehold dungeon. Ring of Booty boss, we catch the pig and then Ludwig comes down. the first thing that my charged bolts hit was a random mob attacking a target dummy in the stands. It shouldn’t do that, it should be hitting Ludwig.
That’s completely false. Charged Bolts is so good in single target that for many specs it outweighs other options due to boss fights. If they reduce the effectiveness in single target then sure, but as it stands right now it’s equivalent to the stat boosts at worst for many specs.
i skip stuff thats not important. takes me too long to kill stuff and if it ain’t needing to be dead, i skip it. charged bolts refuses to let me do that lol
Freehold may be an exception because there are mobs in combat with other units.
But still, there is no earthly reason for this to shoot anything except your current target. Or if you’re a potato healer who still targets friendlies, hit their target.
I am currently in an 11 Sidestreet Sluice. I am in combat with something because freakin Charged Bolts has pulled something that I cannot find. It pulled mobs that were above and to the side of me on a completely different platform. This is a problem say if the Underpin shows up and you want to focus on that but oh too bad you get nuked by 20 different adds coming in from nowhere
edit: while I was typing that the mob that was keeping me in combat found me and killed me. thanks Blizzard - FIX YOUR BLOODY GAME!!!
Sorry but what you are saying doesn’t make any sense in delves.
The overcharged ones literally tell you if you actually look at the pop up before going in that there are robots in the delve that can randomly at you and bring things with it.Reading the pop up beofre entering is something you do anyway before choosing the teir of the delve.
Also maybe next time wait til you are actually out of the delve, dungeon or whatever to type and that chance of death will reduce. If you wouldn’t afk in a mythic plus or raid, overcharged delves should be treated the same, don’t afk out.
Then when done actually go the correct section of forums and put in an actual bug report.
You have more of a change of devs seeing it there. Chances of them seeing it in general discussion is close to the drop rates for Invisible and Ashes.
That is literally the only thing I’ve seen do that in there while using.
so thats why i couldnt loot the jars in the delve lolol. i was like why the hell am i in combat theres nothing here but maybe it got me on the way somehow. i didnt realize that was going on i was trippin lol
