Charge charges things

I haven’t played my warrior since BC but I was curious how many charges an Arms or Fury warrior has.
I got charged three time in less than 20 seconds with the last two being consecutive.

Prot can use intervene twice, arms/fury can charge once by default, twice if they have the double time talent. With two uses it will recharge one within 20 seconds, so this makes sense.

I thought it was two charges in 20 secs so once I got that second charge I knew I was home free till a third came and I was confused

IF you take double time, charge cd become 17 sec.

I miss when charge had a root/knock back

I believe it still roots for a second

Based on your description sounds like you got charged, duked it out for a bit, and then got double charged so his first charge must have came back right as he needed to use it.

Edit: Plus he has access to heroic leap. If it were me (granted I dont pvp anymore and haven’t with a warrior since BC) I’d probably charge, leap, and then have that double charge available later. Even if you got away from double charge hopefully leap is coming off CD and then another charge after that in a worst case scenario. By then someone is probably dead.

There’s also a pvp talent that execute charges. If you get below execute %, you can charge constantly as long as you have rage.

The one second root is just so your target is still there when you get there. If you intervene a moving ally it obviously doesn’t root them and it becomes very apparent just how much space someone can cover in the time it takes you to charge over to them. You actually charge to the space they’re at when you use it and not the space they’re at when it finishes. I wish it rooted 2 or 3 seconds just so mages can’t immediately blink away as soon as I charge them.

The honor talent death sentance. Makes your execute a charge. Arms warriors can spam it and basically stick to you forever if you’re low enough and they have the rage.
