Can’t skip Valithria Dreamwalker and still have access to the Lich King? My mage’s raid lockout shows Valithria and the Lich King are the ONLY bosses available. However, the transporter does not have an option to go to the Lich King.
Is this a new intended change? Or an unintended bug?
P.S. Bandages do not heal enough, like they used to.
You can skip Valithria - just walk around her and out the back. They made it soloable for non-healing classes.
Kill Sindragosa to finish the wing, then go to the center and port to the Lich King.
If you’re looking to solo the encounter for mogs or other reasons, there are a number of posts on WoWhead and Youtube with suggestions.

Yep, I have skipped her before on my mage and at least one other toon that has no heals (rogue or hunter, can’t remember). I did skip Valithria this time, but the transporter after Sindragosa has no option to go to Upper Spire. I went to all of the other options, looking for Upper Spire to appear, and it was never presented.
I don’t need the transmog items, I just want to try for the mount from the Lich King. But, I can’t get to him. However, I was able to get to him on my mage during the past few weeks. The last time was when I tried to solo Valithria with bandages, lol, wiped because I ran out of them.
EDIT: After being logged out due to frustration and returning to my mage in ICC, I now have the option to go to Upper Spire. Wtf?
Thank you for your reply.
Glad it resolved, but that is definitely weird. Possible that something didn’t tag right until the instance did a soft reset. If it happens again, throw a Bug Report in from the Help menu. Won’t resolve it, and you won’t get a response, but it throws the Report into the pile for review.
Many times old raids will bug out due to how fast overgeared characters can kill the bosses. In those situations, the scripts that govern how the encounter plays out under normal conditions get hung up and the progression is halted in some way.
The first troubleshooting step in those situations is a “soft reset” of the instance (like Srilanni mentioned), which is what you did by logging out for (at least) 30 mins. It often allows the scripts that were not properly completed to complete/reset.
Glad you got it sorted!
Ah, I understand. I will try that next time before I make a post or curse at Valithria, lol. Thank you both!
