Hi there - my male blood elf is spread-eagled while riding his Illidari Felstalker and Swift Warstrider. This is a new problem. On his Dreadsteed and Sunreaver Dragonhawk, his legs are fine. Thanks

lol yes. I saw this yesterday when I used the coin of many faces. It transformed me into a female worgen and when I mounted up her legs were shot out completely straight at side angles like an upside down V. Looked ridiculous.

Just wanted to weigh in here…I’m very glad someone else noticed this. I noticed my Horde alts - male blood elf demon hunter and female blood elf warlock - had their legs awkwardly shot out to the side while riding the Illidari Felstalker and also their racial mounts (hawkstriders). It seems some adjustments for leg positioning were required for certain mounts, but the aesthetic of these mounts has been ruined by the new (hopefully unintended) leg positioning.
It looks like you’re doing the splits on the Illidari Felstalker. Same with the hawkstrider, and the legs actually shoot through the wings.
A lot of flying mounts and a few ground mounts now do this. My WoW Facebook group is having fits over it. I really hope this is an unintended bug but something tells me it’s not.
Can it please be a bug?

I think there were many intentional changes to avoid clipping down into the mount’s body. The full leg splits looks pretty silly regardless of the mount. I have to think it’s a bug if the legs are jutting out from the mount, not making contact with the body of the mount and leaving lots of empty space. It’s probably intended if there’s a natural laying or wrapping around the body of the mount…not sure though, obviously.
Transmog, mounts, and the like are so important to the game, it’s very disheartening when an aesthetic you enjoyed gets ruined. D:
This still bugs me so much. Trying to ride a horse or slender mount like the reindeer during the holidays looks SO RIDICULOUS with my female draenai, her legs are sticking out like flippers
