Character won't stop moving

I have checked around and so far nothing. And older post don’t have answers.

I only get this problem on my evoker which is why I haven’t leveled him. I will start running and then for no reason, he keeps going. I can not stop this bug from happening. I have disabled all addons and nothing seems to fix this.

Any ideas?

Playing on my evoker right now. Suddenly (as of 15min ago) while dragonriding my movement commands suddenly all stop. I can’t turn or pivot. And then, all of a sudden as quickly as it came, it goes away, mid-flight. I’ve disabled addons. Still happens. I DCed the first time it happened, but am still logged in after the second.

Is that somewhat of what happens to you?

No I mean I will let go of everything and my evoker will just keep moving is on direction. /Reload works until I move again and then I’m back to being stuck moving.

Check your autorun keybind for the character. Sounds like it got bound to something different than your other characters.

Hi Cloudice

Log the Evoker on then open a chat box. Type this command in chatbox:

/console cvar_default

Hit Enter key afterwards to run command. You may see an error but it should still run the command. Test afterwards

Hey all, I want to thank everyone who posted here. But it looks like I found the problem:

I had to not only disable addon’s but get rid of a few. I did this by just renameing a few folders like a reset but saved them so I didn’t lose my settings. What happened and what Ifound was this:

I use Clique for healing since in game mouse over casting does not supporting gaming mice like the Naga X. Some how I key bound a move to the right key but I also bound it to ‘W’ and ‘E’. Forward and strife. so by casting a spell it would loop into movement and had no end point to stop. I’m guessing it bugged the rest of the system as even disabled it was still doing this. (No a major programmer but I can see how the coding could still effect my game)

But adding my addons back one at a time I was able to figure it was Clique and randomly thought to double check my bindings and there it was.

Again, thank you all so much! Time to get my Evoker to 70!

Good to see Cloudice - thanks for reporting back.
